Yuri lives with his mom, Mary Zak, near Toronto in Canada.
The photo above was taken by Gary Mulcahey. Yuri is now a straight racing champion in Canada (RCHS)!
The photos of him coursing were taken by Wendy of MUDDY PAWS photography during a lure practice in October, 2005.

Yuri finished as the #1 Borzoi in straight racing in both 2006 and 2007 in Canada!
He finished as the overall #4 hound of all breeds running in 2007!
Yuri ran undefeated both years to earn these rankings -
HUGE congratulations to Mary and Yuri for this accomplishment!

Yuri is also now certified as a St. Johns Therapy dog
and is spreading love to those in need!
